The request to increase or decrease child support must be 15% or greater. This Request is also used to end child support once a minor child has obtained the age of 18 years and has graduated from high school. The Court will not automatically stop child support payments upon a child obtaining the age of emancipation or graduation from high school. There is a Court filing fee of $89.00 and the responding party must be served the documents by process service or restricted certified mail.
Stipulation to Change/Stop Child Support: $300.00
Can be used if both parties are agreeable to the change of child support amount or ending of child support. This request is processed much faster by the Court. It involves no Court hearing. The Order is signed by the Judge and mailed back to both parties. There is a Court filing fee of $89.00, and no process service charge.
Response (to Petition for Divorce, to Request to Stop/Modify Support): $300.00
The Court filing fee is $274.00. You have 20 days, if served in Arizona, 30 days if served outside of Arizona to file your Response. If you do not file a Response, it will allow the Petitioner or Plaintiff to receive all of the relief requested in their Petition or Complaint.
